Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated AI Engineer to join our team. As an AI Engineer you will design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and AI systems that will be used to power our innovative products and services. You will work on cutting-edge projects with a cross-functional team, contributing to both research and production-grade AI systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement machine learning algorithms and models to solve complex problems.
• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product teams to build scalable AI solutions.
• Build and optimize data pipelines and workflows to support AI model training and inference.
• Conduct experiments, model evaluations, and fine-tuning to ensure the best performance of AI systems.

• Monitor and troubleshoot AI model performance in production, providing improvements and updates.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, or Scikit-learn.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure for deploying AI models.
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms (e.g., supervised/unsupervised learning, reinforcement learning, deep learning).
• Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, or other AI domains is a plus.
• Experience in deploying machine learning models in production environments using tools like Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex data.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with big data tools such as Apache Spark or Hadoop.
• Familiarity with reinforcement learning or deep reinforcement learning.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement QAQC plans and procedures to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Lead quality inspections, audits, and testing processes to verify that construction work meets project specifications and quality requirements.
• To verify the setup, formed, implementation and operation of the quality and control system by planning and conducting internal quality audits and inspection activities.
• Able to liaise with consultants, clients and related parties.
• To ensure implementation and continuous improvement in overall Quality Systems.
• Document non-conformance reports and collaborate with the project teams on corrective action.
• Provide training on quality standards and the best practices.
• To lead and manage all QAQC related matters.
• Recommend process enhancements for efficiency and quality.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with knowledge of QAQC standard procedures.

At the GS-4 grade level, you will:

• Perform routine and limited assignments pertaining to the scientific missions of the organization.
• Assist in the performance of duties such as the collection of literature references and the organization of files.
• Assist senior staff, project officers, analytical staff, and other staff as necessary.
• Support higher-graded staff in planning for program management of environmental programs.

At the GS-5 grade level, you will:

• Perform routine and limited assignments pertaining to the scientific missions of the organization.
• Select appropriate methods and procedures for assignments based upon previous assignments or instructions.

• Support higher-graded staff in planning for program management of environmental programs.

You will:

At the GS-4 level, you will:

• Perform routine laboratory testing or conducts routine aspects of field sampling or laboratory experiments;
• Receives training in the maintenance of laboratory/scientific equipment and assists in the maintenance of instruments for proper function.
• Assists in the performance of other standardized support duties such as the collection of literature references and the organization of files.
• Performs other simple laboratory duties as required.

At the GS-5 level, you will:

• Assist with data collection (such as water, plants, sediments, animals, etc.) from field (e.g. marshes, streams, or estuary) or set up and harvest cultures for experiments.
• Assist with laboratory sample processing and data collection, including but not limited to, measuring, filtering, grinding, and weighing samples.
• Perform data entry and quality assurance checks of data.
• Assist with preparation of samples for analyses.
• Review literature for assessment and information gathering.

You will:

• Analyze and summarize a variety of environmental program information and data for use in preparing reports and program evaluations;
• Perform scientific studies of a standard nature on regulatory and compliance issues and problems;

• Assist staff in preparation of materials for, and participation in, briefings with managers and review literature for assessment and information gathering.
