Position Overview  

As an intern you will become a full member of Autodesk's Stardew team where you will gain software experience by working with both our web and desktop development teams, but also collaborate with our software engineers, designers, and architects to identify new solutions that meet our quality targets

One product you will contribute to is Model Coordination; a client-side application made possible through using the latest web technology (React, Redux and webGL)

Responsibilities

• You will contribute to quality through the entire development lifecycle, from design to customer release, thereby gaining experience of the software development world
• You will create automated test functionality, and maintaining existing tests using the Cypress Javascript framework
• You will design test cases and completing test procedures, documented within Jira
• You will contribute to our Jenkins continuous integration platform, which automatically assesses application code checks and runs tests on deployment

Minimum Qualifications  

• Afull-time undergraduate student in an accredited software development related course at the time of internship participation
• An understanding of software testing and quality assurance would be beneficial

As a software engineer intern you will work as part of the team responsible for building features into our flagship construction products within Autodesk BIM Collaborate Pro. You will work together with experienced software engineers, designers, and product experts to solve diverse challenges. You will get to experience the latest of product development, using the latest in web technology. As an intern, you will get support, mentorship, and guidance and autonomy and responsibility.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to, the full development lifecycle from design to customer release
• Work on the React front-end application, with an opportunity to work on back-end technology
• Be a core member of the team and partake in our Agile development methodology (Kanban)
• Gain insight into modern software development within a global organisation

Minimum Qualifications

• A full-time undergraduate student in an accredited software development related course at the time of internship participation
• An open minded individual motivated through learning new concepts and ideas
• Interest or exposure to JavaScript
• Familiarity about software design principles

As an intern, you will get support, mentorship, and guidance and autonomy and responsibility.

The role

• You will contribute to the full development lifecycle from design to customer release
• Work on a well established C++/Managed codebase
• Be a core member of the team and partake in our Agile development methodology
• Gain insight into modern software development within a global organisation

Minimum Qualifications

• A full-time undergraduate student in an accredited software development related course at university pursuing a bachelor or masters degree
• Interest or exposure to C++, .Net or Python
• Familiarity with software development principles
