The Role
As an Electrical Systems Engineer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will be at the forefront of developing, designing and implementing innovative new vehicle designs.
Day-to-day, you'll be responsible for the full design process from concept development through to production ready designs.
- Collaborate with teams to develop vehicle design concepts
- Utilise CAD software to create electrical schematics, 2D and 3D models of components and systems
- Developing virtual and physical prototypes to test and refine ideas and concepts
- Report on quality activities and performance on a regular basis
- Provide leadership, coordination and coaching to the team
This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements
Experience Required of the Electrical Systems Engineer
- Knowledge and understanding of electrical systems and EMC design practices
- Profficiency in CAD software i.e. AutoCAD, SolidWorks etc
- Strong understanding of vehicle engineering principles
- Knowledge of industry specific standards and regulations
- Ideally understanding of defence standards 61-5 and 59-411
Qualifications for the Electrical Systems Engineer
- Degree level qualified in relevant engineering subject

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
