Engineering and Maintenance Manager

£70,000- £80,000
Monday to Friday- Days 37.5 hours per week.

My client, a nationally recognised energy from waste facility is looking for an engineering/maintenance manager to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. The business continues to grow and the upward trend is set to continue with the industry projected for huge growth in the future.
Working as part of the site leadership team, we are looking for candidates that can meet the following requirements:
- Previous experience leading a multi skilled maintenance engineering team
- Extensive knowledge of engineering equipment and processes
- Previous experience working in the process industry or power industry, including the management of PSSR legislation.
- Previous experience working in a leadership position- managing a team, assisting with maintenance planning, running capex projects and driving improvement across a manufacturing/process facility.
- Condition monitoring knowledge
Reporting to the general manager, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Provide strong leadership and guidance to the site engineering team, with a safety first mindset.
- Drive improvement across site to deliver a world class operational facility.
- Planning and coordinating shutdowns
- Managing the CAPEX project lifecycle
- Full responsibility for the engineering and maintenance budgets.
