We are looking for an experienced Lead Directory Services Engineer to join our Identity and Access Management team. This individual will work with their team members to enhance the security of our corporate environment by developing processes and implementing technology around user identity and access management and zero-trust methodologies.

Securely connect 5000 employees to all corporate resources and connect 800 technology developers and engineers to resources across AWS, Azure, GCP, and an 8000 VMware IaaS infrastructure, all through a zero trust framework.

Opportunity to work in an advanced security operation that is responsible for securing the data and products behind 35 websites serving 75M global visitors/mo, running on top of multiple private and public clouds.

This position is located in Irvine, CA and offers a hybrid schedule of 3 days onsite, 2 days remote.

Responsibilities

• Be a subject matter expert for identity provisioning, security, and governance.
• Analyze, design, and support a highly complex, enterprise level Active Directory and Single Sign On services in a hybrid on-premise and cloud hosted environment.
• Implement, execute, and support critical IAM processes, including overall identity management, access management, provisioning/de-provisioning, user onboarding/offboarding, and access certifications/review.
• Manage and troubleshoot all aspects of Active Directory and Azure EntraID, including federation, infrastructure, and user accounts.
• Create and maintain system documentation for domain technologies, including installation, configuration, and appropriate troubleshooting steps.
• Proactively identify potential threats, exploit attempts and other security events related to Directory Services and IAM. Make recommendations and/or take action to mitigate these issues as appropriate. Actively contribute to and participate in security incident response as needed.
• Work with internal Security teams to support incident response and logging with enterprise SIEM systems such as Azure Sentinel.
• Work with internal Security teams to remediate critical security findings as they relate to identity.
• Work with internal stakeholders to implement appropriate role-based access controls for access within the organization.
• Identify and implement opportunities for technology, automation, and security enhancements for IAM functions.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited, not for profit university or college.  
• A track record of commitment to prior employers 
• 8+ years total experience in a technical role such as security, network, systems, or software engineering.
• 5+ years total experience directly supporting Active Directory and Azure EntraID in a large, multi-forest, hybrid environment.
• 3+ years of experience engineering IAM solutions in AWS, Azure, or a large scale IdP implementation (Entra ID, Okta, Ping, etc).
• 3+ years of experience work with SIEM and advanced logging/correlation tools.
• 2+ years writing PowerShell or Python scripts from scratch.
• Ability to get to done-done when troubleshooting issues or engineering solutions.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Expert knowledge of the administration of Active Directory and GPOs in a complex, multi-forest environment.
• Expert knowledge of the administration of EntraID and AD Connect in a hybrid-domain environment.
• Expert knowledge of ADFS and PKI in a multi-OS environment.
• Expert knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and DFS in a multi-OS environment.
• Strong knowledge of modern authentication standards, protocols, and frameworks: LDAP, SAML, OAUTH2, OIDC, FIDO2, Kerberos, SCIM, WS-Federation, JWT.
• Strong knowledge of SSO integration for SaaS-based and private applications using Entra AD, Okta, OneLogin or similar products.
• Strong knowledge of LDAP directory architecture and products such as Active Directory, OpenLDAP, and Radiant Logic.
• Knowledge of IAM governance tools such as SailPoint, Saviynt, and Azure Active Directory.
• Understanding of Microsoft Sentinel and querying logs using KQL.
• Understanding of common security concerns within a typical application (password hashing, SSL/TLS, encrypting at rest and in transit, etc.).
• Understanding of common Active Directory security defense tools and methodologies, such as Bloodhound, Mimikatz, Password Spray, rainbow tables, cryptography, etc.
• Understanding of server virtualization technologies, preferably VMware and/or Microsoft technologies.
• Demonstrated experience automating common operational tasks, web service/API integration, and deployment activities in scripting/programming languages (e.g. PowerShell, Python, Perl, etc.).
• Familiarity with PAM tools (CyberArk, SecretServer, BeyondTrust, Hashicorp Vault, etc.) for credential escrow, vaulting, and retrieval.
• Able to investigate identity related security incidents with cross a functional team of security engineers.

Job/Group Overview:
The Group Infrastructure Services (GIS) department is responsible for the implementation, deployment and support of technology infrastructure services including private and public cloud, desktops, messaging and collaboration tools, voice communications, mobile, multimedia, data centers and networks across Nomura Group companies.
Within GIS, the Workspace Services team is looking for a Collaboration and Messaging Services technical support engineer who will provide Asia-wide coverage of a rich product set on behalf of our internal client base of over 25,000 people.
Reporting to the Singapore-based VP in charge of Collaboration and Messaging Services, this role includes detailed planning and execution of new product deployments, version upgrades, security enhancements and the decommission of obsolete components. There will also be day to day support responsibilities in the event of service interrupting incidents or end user requests requiring human intervention. The global Collaboration and Messaging team employs a follow-the-sun coverage model, and team members share on-call and weekend support responsibilities on a rotating basis to cater individual work/life balance.

Responsibilities:

Covering a product set used by everyone across the organization, project demands and support “hot spots” will continuously evolve and the responsibilities of this role will adapt accordingly. Examples of tasks performed by this team include:

• Provide direct support to a large internal user base on a variety of communication channels
• Support infrastructure components of Microsoft Exchange email (on-premise and Online/cloud-based), MobileIron, RightFax, Microsoft Teams, Veritas Enterprise Vault archiving, Proofpoint SMTP Infra, and more
• Manage related server and appliance infrastructure of the above products

Position Overview

You will join Enterprise Systems and Experience (ESE) which is part of Autodesk's 3500+ person Digital Platform & Experience division. ESE is the crew that helps Autodesk create business and customer success. We are all about improving the productivity of our people across the organization.

As the Collaboration Systems Migration Engineer, you will accelerate and manage the process of system and data migration maximizing the use of our tools, collaborate with across teams, consult on best practice, resolve migration issues, and manage escalations.

You will work with diverse personas across Autodesk including, senior leadership, partners, and technology staff. You will be successful in this role establishing working relationships with our users to ensure efficient, secure, and practical solution to meet system migration needs. You will report to the Collaboration Services Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities

• You will manage migrations/installations/connectivity/configurations. Initiate required programs and protocols ensuring seamless data and system migration & integration

• Follow industry best practices, principles, quality assurance, and new ideas in implementation

• Coordinate vendor software, technical services, and demonstrations

• Ensure appropriate security controls are in place

• Respond to reports of systems/storage failure or diminished performance according to Service Level Agreements. Troubleshoot systems and isolate the source of the failure
