Roles & Responsibilities:
• Support the accomplishment of construction human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures.
• Act as the main QAQC adviser on project site for subcontractors, crafts people and operatives
• Prepare and plan QAQC procedures and documents for the project/ works
• Attend to and prepare for any quality inspection required for the works
• Formulate and implement a quality assurance program for the worksite including but not limited to training, assessment and implementation to ensure quality works on site
• Maintain, formulate and follow through quality assurance system and follow through the audit requirements
• Advise and monitor the operation team for quality execution of the works on site
• Liaise with Clients, consultants, architects, subcontractors/ vendors with regards to quality execution and planning of the works
• Liaising with the local authority (where appropriate to the project) to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws in relation to quality
• Liaising with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of quality aspects of the works
• Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site supervisory crew, labour force and the work of any subcontractors to ensure quality execution of the works
• Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site;
• Preparing reports as required;
• Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
• Updates job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging construction practices and standards; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
• Managing, monitoring and interpreting the contract design documents/ drawings supplied by the client, architect or consultant;
• Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Upholding Company’s work ethics and proper display of representation to Clients/Vendors/Subcon
Requirements
• Degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Min. 2 year of relevant experience in Quality Assurance, Process Audit
• Min 2 years in the Oil and Gas Industry
• Trained in ISO:9000 / Internal Quality Audit Trainings preferred
• Performance-driven and excellent leadership skills
