Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide for site safety and security, devise and implement site policies and procedures.
• Handle emergencies appropriately according to established procedures, prepare and file accident reports.
• Supervise and evaluate staff, complete employee reviews; keep accurate records of employee attendance and timesheets; provide positive direction to motivate quality performance, discipline personnel when necessary and appropriate.
• Set project goals and oversee projects to completion, schedule and track assignments.
• Handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Communicate with customers regarding products and services.
• Liase and work closely with contractor.
• Proactive, good team player with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned from time to time
• Site supervision for diaphragm wall, barrette pile, cross wall and bored pile construction works.
• Setting up the trench cutter desander and silo plant in construction site.
• Installation of pipeline to supply stability liquid for earth work.
• Supervise the usage of heave machinery and equipment for site requirement according to construction schedule.
• Control the stabilizer chemical and disposal plan.
• Must have deep knowledge in diaphragm wall construction and mechanical of heave machinery & equipment especially trench cutter system, desander plant etc.
• More than 10 year experience for construction site especially in foundation works.
• Able to work in construction site working environment.
• Schedule preparation, pre-planning and resource forecasting to all activities relating to the project.
• Monitor and control material management on site as to ensure proper storage and unnecessary wastage.
• Foster positive communications and relationships with team members, management, vendors and clients.

Our client is well established construction company currently looking for a FLT Telehandler and Roller driver to start on a Civils project based in Appleby.


As a suitable candidate you will have:
- a valid CSCS Card.
- relevant ground working experience.
- CPCS/NPORS Telehandler ticket.
- CPCS/NPORS Roller ticket.
- 2 checkable employment references.
- full Personal Protective Equipment.

Main on-site duties include but are not limited to: the safe operation of an FLT Telehandler and Roller, assisting with groundworks as well as all other associated tasks.

Attractive hourly rate offered. Site opening hours are 7.30-17.00 Monday - Friday.
