Responsibilities

• Provide project planning schedule, monitor, review and update project progress throughout the project execution, to ensure timely completion.
• Manage the Review of Detail Design by EPC Contractors.

• Monitor the entire spectrum of works right from Engineering to Procurement to Construction until Commissioning completion.

Meet the requirements:

• Degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering
• Certified by Project Management Institute as Project Management Professional.
• Completed Ministry of Manpower Singapore Construction Safety Course for Project Managers (CSCPM).
• Minimum job experience as project manager in successfully completed 2 transmission cable or infrastructure projects of similar contract value within 8 years. Candidates with more than 10 years of experience may be considered for Senior Project Manager position
• Minimum 4 years of experience in transmission cable or major infrastructure projects
• Familiar with all statutory regulations and requirements pertaining to transmission cable projects.
• Familiar with work scope, work sequence, method statement of transmission cable works.
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Independent and able to interface with Client/ Government Agencies / Contractors
• Knowledge in Programming & Scheduling, Risk Management, Environment Health and Safety Plan and ISO documentation
• Candidates with working experience in other countries in SE Asia would also be considered

A vacancy exists for an Associate Director Structural Engineer to join this premier structural consultancy in Cenbtral London The role involves managing and delivering projects alongside experienced directors who will act as your professional mentor.

The work involves varied and challenging building structures projects, both in teh UK and overseas ranging in value from £50m and £400m.

The Associate Director Structural Engineer role requires a ‘hands on’ approach and the application of professional engineering knowledge and skills to steer the direction of projects. Excellent career prospects are available as the consultancy continues to grow in reputation and size.

Duties will involve; team management, business development and winning work, the preparation of feasibility studies, concept and scheme design reports, design calculations (a working knowledge Eurocodes is desired), preparation of contract documents and specifications and supervision of staff. - To provide high level technical services.
