We are recruiting a Process Engineer to join our client, leading the process engineering function on-site, supporting both new and existing plant and products. This role encompasses everything from initial scoping and FEED studies to process engineering design, safety, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare process engineering documentation for FEED studies
• Plan and manage installation and commissioning of new/modifications to plant
• Lead initial conceptual phases and ensure design balance between suitability, operability, and cost
• Conduct HAZOPs, design reviews, and risk assessments; implement recommendations
• Establish and lead a process safety management system to meet regulatory standards
• Participate in major capital project teams, supporting the process engineering, and taking a key role in process improvement activities

Requirements:
• Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering
• Chartered Engineer status
• Previous experience in chemical manufacturing or the process industry
• Experience working on a COMAH site and familiarity with key regulations (DSEAR, CDM, COMAH)
• Proven track record in project management, including EPC contracts

You will be joining a family run global leader in the supply of fabrication and engineering services to the renewables, chemical, oil and gas, rail, nuclear, power and construction markets.

By developing suitable procedures, you will effectively control welding, inspection and NDT operations whilst fostering key technical relationships and influencing HSE, quality and operating procedure compliance, throughout the project.
