Job Overview:

As Product Engineer you will join the AD&M's (Aerospace, Defense and Marine) Ruggedized Fiber Optics (RFO) group, focusing primarily on sustaining development efforts. Role and Responsibilities:

• Act as a liaison between Engineering and Manufacturing at the Hastings plant location.
• Generate Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) to facilitate product enhancements.
• Support and oversee testing activities in the lab, including DVT/Qual cable assembly design, component modeling, and print creation.
• Participate in DFMEA/PFMEA processes to identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Assist in preparing and delivering design reviews, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
• Coordinate model shop requests and support prototype part builds.
• Conduct tolerance analysis and develop design verification test plans.
• Utilize software tools such as SolidWorks, CREO, and AutoCAD to make drawing modifications in compliance with industry standards.
