Multi-skilled Engineer - HVAC Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Mobile Mechanical Engineer to maintain and repair installations such as ventilation systems - (AHU, Intake/extract), heating and cooling systems (thermal wheels, FCUs, etc.), and water system assets, such as booster sets, calorifiers, water heaters.

You should be capable of delivering the highest level of service for the client, answering queries, reporting any defects, and keeping them informed of site activities at the time of the service visit. You will also be required to complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time, keeping a log of inspection reports and remedial work.

You must hold a valid full driving licence and be IT literate. You should have the capability to perform manual tasks, including manual handling, working at heights and in confined spaces as well as a willingness to participate in the On-Call Rota. • Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct regular maintenance and repair tasks on systems such as commercial freezers and cold storage units.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and fix issues with refrigeration systems, including chillers and display cases.
• System Upgrades: Implement upgrades to enhance efficiency and performance.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure systems comply with safety standards and refrigerant regulations.
• Documentation: Keep detailed maintenance and repair records.
• Energy Efficiency: Identify and implement energy-saving measures.
• Client Communication: Communicate with clients about system status and maintenance activities.
• Training and Supervision: Train and supervise junior staff.
• Emergency Response: Respond to urgent issues to minimise downtime.

Qualification Requirements:

• NVQ Level 2 in refrigeration
