We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Engineer for our well-established client within the Llanidloes area.
This is a full time position although the candidate will need to be adaptable to varying shift patterns. The working hours are as follows:
• 05:00 – 17:00
• 4 on 4 off
• Salary to be discussed at interview stage
Main Roles and Responsibilities:
• Input accurate data on to Holistech for the parts used, jobs raised and completed.
• Keep the workshop areas tidy and clean to ensure a safe workspace.
• Undertake handover procedures for your own work
• Ensure you are adhering to all company policies, procedure, health and safety measures and hygiene practices
• Manage and take note of any failures with equipment, PPM jobs and work orders
• Find a prompt and efficient resolution to any issues that may arise and minimize any company downtime.
• Ensure you are striving to reduce costs whilst company downtime is kept to a minimum
• Ensure to keep all departments up to date and informed of any changes using your own expertise.
Skills and Qualities we are looking for in a candidate:
• A proven understanding of engineering requirements
• Experience within an FMCG chilled environment is desirable
• Ability to adapt well to change
• Proven understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering
• Ability to demonstrate the closure of all incoming tasks.
• Be competent with IT systems- this is to include being literate in Holistech
• Be flexible and available to attend training courses as required
