To assist with the implementation and management of specialist clinical and non-clinical applications & SQL Clusters in use across the Trust To work with the organisation on the development, deployment and management of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning & Robotic Process Automation solutions in both Corporate & Clinical settings Contribute to the development strategy and associated programme of implementation of clinical systems, ensuring they support the vision of integrating all data into the main Trust EPR Create and update Standard Operating Procedures for use across the team Production of support documentation and pro-active handover to support personnel Proposing system developments to improve workflows, operational processes and release efficiencies during systems acquisitions or upgrades. Working with the IT & Cyber Teams to ensure that all systems managed within the department are secure, and following trust standards Log, manage and resolve helpdesk calls in a timely manner, ensuring end users are kept informed of progress and service is delivered to quality standards Working with technical teams and external suppliers in the resolution of tickets and issues on behalf of users, owning issues through to resolution To establish proactive monitoring systems to ensure applications are operating as expected and that alerts are acted upon when issues arise To be the point of escalation for resolution of issues where support teams are unable to resolve This role also incorporates the need to communicate complex digital issues to non-digital senior staff and articulate timescales, plans, barriers and dependencies to clinical teams and senior operational managers To take the lead on changes to existing system technical configuration as a result of changed requirements or systems change Designing and developing fully working systems using structured and formal methods Development of test plans for end-to-end solution testing using a wide range of technical and non-technical users. Using structured process (e.g. change and release management) to move systems and updates into live operationWork within defined deadlines as part of a team and on an individual basis Keep up to date with relevant technologies, new techniques and developments in healthcare standards, interoperability, and other technologies People & Human Resources Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues across the organisation Contribute to effective team-working by transferring skills and knowledge to appropriate staff and ensuring that working procedures are properly documented and maintained Provide regular performance reports on progress, status, and achievements for own area to be used by both Management and Users Support the development of staff in line with appraisals and other associated guidance To take part in out of hours work for projects or on-call rotas, where required Assist the wider Digital Team, as part of a fall-back service when required, as appropriate Keep abreast of research and knowledge in the healthcare development standards, interoperability, and other technologies Comply with all legal, regulatory and Trust requirements including policies, standing financial instructions, standing orders and procedures Create a culture of equality, diversity and inclusivity by personally embedding these factors into everyday working life.
