DevOps Engineer

Position Location:

NCR Voyix is expanding its IoT technology across retailers and restaurants businesses.

Digital Connected Services will need to provide our customers with an onboarding experience they have come to expect. The Onboarding Engineer role will be enabling and building automations to onboard customers across NCR Voyix business. NCR Voyix has taken an “automate everything” approach to building, deploying and operating their services. As part of the team, you get to establish yourself as a technical leader by exposing yourself to a broad range of industry leading technologies that will help to drive onboarding acceleration of Digital Connected Services and through automations help improve enablement speed.

Key Responsibilities: 

·       Focus on enabling customer accounts across different applications that make up Digital Connected Services. 

·       Including customer devices integrated into IoT technologies within Digital Connected Services.

·       Write scripts and automation code to provision accounts/devices  

·       Developing integrations between our third-party tools (ServiceNow, JIRA, Github) 

·       Work with support teams on problem management initiatives around customer onboarding topics.

This role is part of the NCR VOYIX’s Digital First Banking Information Security team. This team is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining NCR VOYIX’s Digital First Banking information security program. The primary goal of the program is to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information resources. Application Security Engineer

In this mission critical role as an Application Security Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic global application security team, working directly with software architects and software engineers to perform penetration testing on software solutions developed within the company. In addition, you’ll collaborate with engineering to triage security findings and review remediation techniques in order to harden and improve the security of NCR Voyix software across multiple types of products.

With NCR Voyix as a software-focused company, you’ll work in a fast-paced environment, helping enable teams to work in a DevSecOps model in a world of containers, automated pipelines, and rapid deployments. And you’ll be instrumental in helping teams add in security testing as part of their build and release pipelines. Responsibilities:

• Conducting manual penetration tests of NCR Voyix software
• Assessing risk level of security findings using standard methodologies
• Running automated application security tools
• Writing and presenting pen test reports to development teams
• Consulting with development teams on remediation techniques and defensive coding
• Validation testing to confirm findings are closed
• Develop, integrate, and enable security engineering test automation into a CI/CD pipeline
• Perform proof-of-concept and proof-of-technology testing for integrating new 3rd party security products into the development and deployment processes

Required skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field - equivalent work experience ok

In this exciting role you will join the NCR Voyix Digital Banking development and innovation team. The focus of the role is to provide quality assurance to the next generation of mobile and internet banking systems. This role will be primarily software assurance using advanced tools. This is a great role for an opportunity in the technology field and someone who desires to work with cutting edge technologies. 

As a Senior Software Quality Engineer, you will be part of a team defining and developing proof of concept designs with banking customers to apply advanced technologies to drive the next generation of customer experiences in banking. The ability to work with a diverse development team, help create novel solutions and communicate new concepts is a critical requirement of the role. 

This is a hands-on position demanding research and evaluation of new technologies. In this key role, you will be responsible for establishing and implementing quality assurance practices across new digital banking platforms.  While using advance tools, you will be challenged to continually adapt innovative testing strategies and toolsets to support major industry technology implementations.
