Jonathan Lee Recruitment is seeking two talented Aerospace Systems Engineers (Landing Gear) with at least five years of landing gear-related experience to support a major project in Germany.
This full-time Aerospace Systems Engineer (Landing Gear) role is based in Munich, Germany and offers favourable contract rates.
The contract can be managed as outside IR35, but we can also consider inside IR35 or fixed-term contract.
The successful candidates will need to be based in Munich, Germany and so they should ideally have the right to work in Germany already but we may be able to support a visa if required.
In your first few weeks in this Aerospace Systems Engineer (Landing Gear) role, you can expect to:
• Be responsible for delivering landing gear systems support to our business and our clients
• Support design, development and certification activities, including V&V validation and verification
• Prepare and check documentation for the design process
• Run and support design reviews
• Support certification planning activities, test analysis and documentation
To apply for this role, you must be degree-qualified in a related discipline.
You'll also ideally have:
• Relevant Aerospace experience
• Aerospace Systems engineering experience
• Landing gear equipment/system design, development - fixed and/or rotary wing aircraft
• Certification for civil aircraft (CS-23, -25)
• Familiarity with typical electro-mechanical / hydro-mechanical components used in landing gear (ATA-32) systems
• Experience of DO178B/DO254 Software/Hardware design
• Knowledge of ARP4754 – Guidelines for Development of Civil Aircraft and Systems
• Awareness of industry requirements / specifications such as RTCA, SAE, TSO, ARINC, etc
• Working within a quality system environment, such as AS9100, ISO9001
• Ability to lead activities within a team, work package creation, management, and deliver
