Your new role
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for upkeeping the smooth operation of maintenance for the business's manufacturing equipment. You will play a crucial role as part of the maintenance team where you will deliver both planned maintenance and reactive maintenance. By delivering on your maintenance activities, you will help to ensure continuous improvement of the maintenance process to reduce machinery downtime and associated costs and increase in production output.
Key responsibilities will include:

• Perform reactive and preventative maintenance
• Repair and diagnose electrical, mechanical and hydraulic issues with machinery

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will need to:

• Be an apprenticeship trained Maintenance Engineer
• Have a few years of proven experience in a manufacturing environment
• Being a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer, candidates with an electrical or mechanical bias will also be considered for the position
• Have the ability to work well in a team as well as being the sole engineer
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail

Your new role

We are looking for an experienced Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to undertake the maintenance and repair of air conditioning equipment. This includes service, maintenance, and repair of split AC systems, VRV/VRF systems and heat pumps. You may also be required to work on specific refrigeration equipment such as chilled cabinets / multideck or ice machines. Understanding installation designs and bespoke manufacturer troubleshooting procedures, whilst also being comfortable with seeking manufacturer technical support autonomously is desirable. You will be expected to complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time, keeping logs of inspections reports and remedial work.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have experience within a Maintenance / Facilities Management environment. You must have relevant qualifications e.g., FGAS & ODS regs, time served apprenticeship, C&G Level 3 / NVQ or equivalent. Also, knowledge of Health & Safety, Permit to work procedures and safe systems of working. Candidates will have a full current driving licence and be willing to participate in an On-Call rota. You\'ll be capable of performing manual tasks, including manual handling, working at heights and in confined spaces.
