Job Description:
- Quantity measurement of the following trades:
- Structural works.
- Piping works.
- Electrical and instrumentation works.
- Mechanical and equipment works.
- Painting works.
- Reconcile MTO with the client.
- Monitoring changes on-site with production teams. It could be identified in the following:
- Design drawing changes.
- Site instruction from Client.
- Job Confirmation Sheet from client.
- Identification of Changes (IOC) from Production Team.
- Confirmation of Verbal Instruction (COVI) from Production Team.
- Compiling change proposal register.
- Preparation & submission of change proposal to Client for approval.
- Reconcile with Client on the change proposals submitted.
- Project Costs Control:
- Design drawing changes
- Monitoring periodically on the increased or decreased in works scope.
- To handle any Commercial Claims (i.e. Extension of Time, disputed claims, etc)
- To ensure that our works & costs are in-line with the contract.
- Able to identify variance arises in the contract.
- To manage any disputed items.
Job Requirement:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or relevant courses
- Min 3 years of experience in QS
- Able to handle full-scope of QS duties which includes material take-off and variations
