Job Description
Your Team
The Reporting and Data Delivery team is a Technical Support team which is responsible for managing the Data Warehouses, ETL Loads and Data delivery for our Business Partners. The Team collaborates very closely with Business Partners and other Stakeholders to resolve BAU tickets within the SLAs. The Team works in a Rotational shift, as well as weekend on-calls which is also rotational, but there are no night shifts and the weekend on-calls have additional perks.
Your Role:
As a Senior Analyst, you must possess strong technical, communication, collaboration, critical and analytical thinking, and inter-personal skills. Your primary role is to provide technical support to our Business Partners and Stakeholders, handle developing system enhancements on these applications.
You Will Be Responsible For:
Resolve Production support Incidents by technical troubleshooting within SLAs and involve other support staff and business as needed within minimal to no supervision.
Escalate issues and remediation steps effectively and in a timely manner.
Provide client support for on call, after hours, weekends, and public holidays when required.
Provide technical support for projects and existing systems in cooperation with other team members including issue identification, log review, job flow dependencies and resolution.
Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and Major Incidents
Ensure all solutions are accompanied by appropriate system documentation that meets internal standards.
Develop small changes/enhancements (Effort < 120 hours)
The Experience You Bring:
Minimum 4-5 years of experience working in Production/Operation Support.
Must have strong SQL and PL/SQL skills with sound knowledge on Databases/Data Warehouses like MS SQL or Oracle or PostgreSQL.
Must have strong of experience in ETL or ELT processes using applications like Informatica PowerCenter or Oracle Data Integrator.
Must have 1-2 years of experience in coding skills either in Java or Python or VB scripting or any other platform.
Good to have 1-2 years of experience in Analytical Data Visualization tools like Oracle BI (OAC) or PowerBI or Tableau.
Good to have 1-2 years of experience in MuleSoft or API development.
Preferred to have working experience in Financial Services.
A plus if experienced with ITIL, Agile or Lean principles.
Experience using Ticket Management tools like ServiceNow or JIRA or Rally.
