Training Support Specialist
The Opportunity:
As a Submarine Training Support specialist, you know the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion. Many programs require a significant investment of limited resources, and it’s imperative to keep the project on a productive path. That’s why we need you, an experienced submarine operations specialist who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication.
On our team, you will provide submarine operations expertise to projects such as ASW and ASUW tactical training and planning, submarine tactical systems and operational warfare analysis and documentation support, ARCI system design and testing, and efforts that require a thorough understanding of submarine operations, systems, capabilities, limitations, and employment. You will provide subject matter expertise support directly to submarines during different phases of CCS and ARCI modernization. You'll provide training support in the utilization of the newest Submarine tactical hardware and software. You will develop and facilitate academic instruction, field training, or experiential training to include tactical training scenarios and war games using the ARCI OBTT, SMMTT, and or MIT trainers. You'll provide Technical support services for the oversight, analysis, evaluation, maintenance, and review of submarine training modernization management and planning documentation and execution. You will interface with stakeholders to identify, assign, and track action items, leveraging initiatives to benefit submarine sustainment support. You'll support ADHOC training requirements as required.

You Have:
7+ years of experience in submarine operational planning, implementation, and execution of submarine ASW and ASUW missions and operations
7+ years of experience in developing and executing tactical ASW training exercises or equivalent
5+ years of experience in a tactical and operational supervisory role, including Sonar Supervisor, Fire Control Technician, or Officer of the Deck
Experience with using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook software
Ability to be comfortable working with and around all military and organizational levels, clients, customers, suppliers, and visitors
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
Experience with Fleet Synthetic Training
Ability to be highly reliable and demonstrate personal initiative to operate in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Possession of excellent presentation skills
Bachelor’s degree
Qualified Master Training Specialist (MTS) Certification
Submarine Warfare Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
