As a Team leader apprentice, you will...

- Provide customers with a heartfelt and memorable experience each and every time they visit

- Deputise the management team and resolve any issues that arise in their absence

- Help organise and coordinate the team during a busy shift making sure everything runs like clockwork.

- Making sure the bar is always safe, legal, and clean, and any issues are dealt with as quickly and safely as possible.

- A Hospitality Team leader Apprenticeship Qualification once you have completed the 15 month programme

At the Greene King, you'll be working towards your Hospitality Supervisor Apprenticeship - Food and Beverage Level 3 Apprenticeship qualification over the course of 12-18 months.

Working within the dispensary team and with the clinical pharmacy team supporting the initial and ongoing training and development of staff involved with the supplyof medication to inpatients on the wards, and to support patient flow through timely processing of discharge medication.

Duties will include but are not limited to: audits, final accuracy checking of medication, dispensing, training and supportingpharmacy staff, quality improvement projects and meeting KPIs.

To be involved in developing and delivering dispensary pharmacy services and training. To be involved in the production and review of new and outstanding Standard Operating Procedures relating to and which include our dispensaries.

Provide staff with initial training, support maintenance of skills acquired, be a liaison for colleagues organising training for themselves or on behalf of others.

Coordinate, prioritise and facilitating training of varying size (i.e. departmental/1:1/groups)

Support staff through training to be able to work independently without direct supervision, ensuring clear communication, location, and collating data on role.

To maintain a staff skills matrix for core dispensary staff and dispensary-related competencies.

Promptly assess NVQ L3, L2 or act as Educational Supervisor.

To maintain professional registration and uphold professional standards and lead by example in behaviours and actions.

The candidate will need:


* Programming, setting and operating 5-axis machining centres with Heidenhain controls.
* Offline programming experience preferably with Edgecam or Vero.
* Enjoy the challenge of devising manufacturing techniques on new projects.
* Working to tight tolerances and timescales.
* Be flexible with tasks. A can do attitude.
* Be comfortable running more than 1 machine when required.
* Have experience machining a wide range of materials.
* Be a team player.
* Have a positive approach and good communication skills.
* Have at least 5 years experience.

Qualifications / Experience
Essential
⦁ Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship or Training Programme with a minimum of 5 years experience
⦁ Knowledge of Fanuc and Yasnac controlled horizontal & vertical CNC mills an advantage
⦁ Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
⦁ Positive can-do attitude and willing to learn

Duties / Responsibilities
Main duties
⦁ Setting and operating both horizontal and vertical CNC mills with Fanuc & Yasnac controls
⦁ Selecting correct tools, fixtures and programs for CNC machines
⦁ Re-setting machines for operators when required
⦁ In cycle and final de-burring prior to passing on to the next stage of production
⦁ Reading engineering drawings and programme for CNC machines
⦁ Carry out in-process inspection to drawing specification using a variety of measuring equipment e.g., micrometres
⦁ Management of programming updates and programming for new components
⦁ Minor machine maintenance, cleaning machine and own area at end of your shift
⦁ Adhere to AS9100/ISO9001 QMS, Route cards and work instructions
⦁ Undertake other appropriate assigned dues by the Production Manager
⦁ Inform the Production Manager of any relevant problems that could affect production
