About the Programme
Singapore Red Cross Academy, the training arm of Singapore Red Cross, provides humanitarian studies to build capacity and strengthen community resilience. The Academy is the region’s go-to institute for humanitarian studies, backed by more than five decades of knowledge and expertise in teaching standards. It offers a series of specialised first aid and psychosocial support courses, as well as other humanitarian education programmes.
In 2023, Singapore Red Cross Academy trained over 15,000 people in various courses, and is trusted by over 1,300 companies for staff training. Singapore Red Cross Academy strives to empower individuals and communities to help save lives.
Job Purpose
● Support the coordinate the organisation’s training/learning products and services by liaising with various stakeholder including learners.
● Managing learners’ admission, records and updating training/learning management system include the full spectrum of pre-course and post-course administration and registration in
● Support in consolidation of learning data for compilation of data reporting.
● Ensure desired learning environment and management of training logistic and equipment.
● Support business development activities by advocating, promoting and sharing SRCA
training/learning products and services including product advisory.
Job Responsibilities
Operations and Learning administration
● Respond to public customer requests and inquiries via phone, email and other sources.
● Focal Person and coordinates training activities and training administration for course runs at the training venue.
● Manage training administration such as course registration, feedback, systems administration, logistics and classrooms arrangement and any other administrative duties for course schedule runs at the training venue.
● Preparation of examination folders.
● Handles the post-course and/or workshops administration such as ensuring course fees payment, printing certificates and maintaining up-to-date training and issuance records.
● Compiles and submit assessment results and statistics to relevant authorities.
● Submits & processes claims application for SSG funded courses under public course runs.
● Ensure cleanliness of classroom and maintenance of training logistic and equipment.
● Communicates with assigned course instructors of training details such as reporting venue and collection of training logistics
Stakeholder Management
● Respond to public customer requests and inquiries via phone, email and other sources.
● Document, compile and report stakeholder feedback
Any Other Duties
● Collect and consolidate data from identified source to facilitate data reporting
● Liaise and coordinate with various professional skill development administrators on professional skill development points that include FSM/SDU points system with SCDF/SISO, CPE with SNB, etc.
● Maintain compliance to the PDPA requirements.
● Maintain compliance to the ISO 29993:2017, SRFAC and other accreditation requirements.
● Support the implementation of SRCA’s business development plan including marketing
Job Specification
Qualifications and Experience
● At least G.C.E ‘O’ or Nitec, preferably with more than 1-year experience in service or education sector
● Knowledge of TPG/SSG/SDF/SFC is highly advantageous.
Additional Skills and Knowledge
● Good Command of both spoken and written English.
● Good communication and interpersonal skills to build strong rapport with clients and ability to relate well at all levels.
● Must be computer literate and be competent in Microsoft Office / Google applications.
