Tactical Communications Training Instructor

As a trainer on our team, you’ll conduct training in-person, remote, or virtual instruction for our external partners. You’ll expand your technical expertise and industry knowledge while collaborating to devise creative solutions for mission-critical problems. In this role, you will be armed with the resources you need to excel, including Adobe Express, Apple Keynote, and Articulate 300.

You Have:
- 5+ years of experience working with Software Defined Radios (SDRs), Wireless Communications Product (WCPs), and Radio Frequency (RF) technologies
- 3+ years of experience as a Training Instructor of DoD military and civilian support personnel
- Experience using audio/visual (A/V) applications such as Adobe Express, Apple Keynote, or Articulate 300 to transform training materials into a format suitable for web-based training while ensuring compliance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973
- Experience evaluating student performance, maintaining accurate student records, identifying remedial procedures to retake training, completing all required administrative activities, soliciting feedback from course attendees, and reporting recommendations for course improvement
- Knowledge of waveform application software and associated waveform technologies including definition, design, development, testing, deployment, and acquisition regarding the Department of Defense (DoD)
- Ability to build and deliver course content from foundational information through advanced concepts, and identify and implement improvements to existing training materials
- Ability to conduct research and coordinate with tactical communications subject matter experts to ensure course content is relevant and consistent with the latest theory and practice, and collaborate with DoD training representatives concerning training policies and academic requirements
- Ability to provide support for briefs, program plans, presentations, documentation, and diagrams related to the program, operations, and management initiatives, and respond to data calls and requests
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Communication Technology
Nice If You Have:
- Experience working within a joint military environment
- Knowledge of advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of advanced skills in Adobe Express, Apple Keynote, Articulate 300, or A/V applications
- Graduate of military or civilian training instructor program or certificate a plus

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $49,900.00 to $102,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
