The governors of St Joseph’s RC Primary School are seeking to appoint a teacher, who will strengthen our successful and hardworking team, for a two term contract, starting September 2024, to cover a sabbatical.

About the Role
Contract: Temporary/ Fixed term for 2 terms from Monday 2nd September 2024 – Sunday 13th April 2025
Pay Details: Teacher’s Main Scale M1-UPS3
Hours of Work / Weeks per year / Working Pattern: Full time
Main Place of Work: St Joseph’s RC Primary School, Penarth
Temporary Reason: To cover a sabbatical.

The successful candidate will:
Teach a Year 5 class.
Be an inspirational, dedicated and highly effective teacher
Have high expectations of children’s behaviour and achievements
Have the ability to develop children’s academic abilities, well-being and self-esteem
Be committed to the safeguarding of pupils
Be willing and able to work as part of a team to achieve the very best for our pupils
Be prepared to lead after school activities
Have a strong commitment to their professional development.
