The Deputy Director Data for Research is responsible for delivery of this programme working closely with the programme SRO and the Director of Research. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a GMPP programme managing a talented and driven team.

We are seeking an experienced senior leader who has extensive experience of delivering large complex programmes across departments withan in depth specialist knowledge of the NHS data for research ecosystem including the infrastructure, architecture and policy.

The ability to work effectively with key stakeholders including the life sciences industry, academia, NHS R&D community, voluntary and charitable sector organisations is key to successful delivery and the successful applicant will have a track record of building strong collaborations with partners and stakeholders. An exciting opportunity has arisen in the London Regional team within NHS England for a Chief Nurse. Salary Progression
Applicants will commence at the bottom of Band 9 with a full-time starting salary of £99,891, with a pay step increase after 5 years’ service.

For posts based in Inner London, the above salaries will include the additional supplement of 20% of basic salary, subject to a minimum payment of £5,132 per annum and a maximum payment of £7,746 per annum.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as clinical expert to provide clinical/scientific knowledge into the development, execution and communication of the global scientific/medical evidence plan for the indication(s).

• Provide oversight of LCM clinical development with input on global strategy
• Support cross-functional and global collaborations to integrate broad medical, regulatory, safety, scientific, and commercial access and value input into the development program(s)

• Participate and provide clinical input into safety and regulatory interactions

• Interpret and communicate clinical trial data

• Author/review CSRs, publications and regulatory submissions

As Associate Director of Business Operations in the Directorate Enablement (DE) function for the Commercial Directorate the post holder will lead and work as part of a dynamic, multi-disciplined team.

The DE team is a newly established function and the design brings together teams from across the existing structure into single teams who will provide services back to the other sub-directorates through a business partnering model, provide the cohesion between the directorate and NHSE as a whole and support external engagement out to the NHSE system for Commercial and Estates teams. This will represent a new way of working for many colleagues but offers an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of the directorate.

Salary Progression

Applicants will commence at the bottom of Band 9 with a full-time starting salary of £99,891, with a pay step increase after 5 years’ service.

For posts based in Inner London, the above salaries will include the additional supplement of 20% of basic salary, subject to a minimum payment of £5,132 per annum and a maximum payment of £7,746 per annum.

This is offered in accordance with NHS Terms and Conditions and is based on office location.
