South Thames Colleges Group are now looking for an Inclusive Learning Manager to ensure inclusive support arrangements are managed effectively for all learners, including those that do not receive high needs funding.

You will support the Head of Inclusive Learning in managing the overall Inclusive Learning Service to meet the College’s Strategic and Operational objectives. You will lead, develop, and manage a high-quality, cost-effective admissions and support service for learners requiring Additional Needs and work in partnership with Specialist Services, both internally and externally alongside curriculum colleagues to ensure support is of a consistent high standard. You will lead, develop and manage the implementation of relevant legislation in relation to young people at College and manage assessment of learners for inclusive support requirements, including Maths and English access arrangements.

We’d like our Inclusive Learning Manager to have a successful and proven track record in managing support services for learners with sensory impairments, social & emotional, mental health issues, physical disabilities, and medical conditions, enhancing students’ success, including detailed knowledge of the EHCP process. You will have a successful record of leading and managing staff and have a track record in delivering staff development training and other identifiable personal achievements.

You will have good working knowledge of relevant legislation such as the Equality Act 2010, Children & Families Act 2014 and SEND Code of Practice and the implications for the Learning Support Service. You will have experience in managing support funding and budgets, leading and managing staff and of implementing and developing quality systems that result in improved outcomes.

The successful candidate will be eligible for any increase in salary as a consequence of the annual cost of living review that is due to be implemented imminently.

As a Learning & Development Planning & Logistics Officer, you will support the effective and efficient planning and logistics for Learning & Development (L&D). To achieve this, you will ensure that the right resources and in the right place, at the right time.

You will ensure that equipment is fit for purpose, by supporting the production of learning delivery plans, resource plans and DVSAs collective annual plan, in alignment with the financial bidding process with confirmed courses ahead of each quarter.

You will support Management Information (MI) reporting from the Learning Management System (LMS) and other systems to enable decision making. You will collaborate with L&D and People Directorate colleagues to enable planning, administration and logistics for L&D on behalf of the business.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

• Planning ‘Specialist Trainer Support’ resource into the overall L&D delivery plan.
• Ensuring that learning materials, key documents and equipment are available across learning sites based on the plan.
• Producing MI and analytics from respective L&D sources.
• Administering training applications in accordance with policy and procedures.
• Coordinating meetings, along with agendas and relevant documentation.

Study management responsibilities for radiology studies. To provide support to the research team in relation to research governance responsibilities. In association with the radiology research teams, actively manage project specific activities, ensuring identified milestones and targets are met. Prepare detailed study timelines for specific projects, monitoring study progress on a continuous basis, with a clear understanding of any impact on the critical path. Identify mechanisms for the early identification of potential issues in meeting milestones and development of potential solutions, including revisions to financial flows, along with the investigator and other teams. Co-ordination of various management, steering group and project-specific team meetings to ensure appropriate progress against objectives is maintained. A conduit for regional radiology research teams across the other relevant teams supporting the project including, but not limited to Sponsor, finance, Grants & Contracts team, R&D and other support departments. Maintenance of research activity databases and assistance with the development of milestone/annual reports to the relevant funding bodies.
