Executive Headteacher
Basic Salary: £57,000 - £67,000 + £3,000 car allowance

Hours: 37.5 per week

Location: To support schools in the North of the Country
Reports To: Managing Director of Education
Job Purpose:
The role of the executive Headteacher is to:
- Provide effective leadership and management to a group of schools within the Polaris Community
- Drive community-wide improvement priorities
- Ensure that the schools in the community are delivering high-quality provision and securing the best outcomes for pupils
- Promote a culture of unity and collaboration among the schools in the community
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified teacher status
- Degree
- National professional qualification for headship (NPQH)
- Successful leadership and management experience in a school
- Teaching experience
- Involvement in school self-evaluation and development planning
- Demonstrable experience of successful line management and staff development
Skills and Attributes:
- Data analysis skills, and the ability to use data to set targets and identify weaknesses
- Understanding of high-quality teaching based on evidence, and the ability to model this for others and support others to improve
- Understanding of curriculum development
- Understanding of school finances and financial management
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate a vision and inspire others
- Ability to build effective working relationships
