Job Description
Reporting to the Head of Customised Executive Programmes (CEP), the Client Manager will be part of the business development team responsible for the overall go-to-market strategies and revenue targets.
The key focus of the role will be to:
- Execute business plans to achieve incremental revenue from new and existing corporate clients in the Asia-Pacific and global markets
- Engage corporations, government entities and academic institutions to identify opportunities for corporate training and development by managing, growing and sustaining effective relationships at multiple levels of an organisation with senior-level executives and individual decision-makers in targeted verticals across the region
- Partner with assigned clients, faculty and practitioners to successfully deliver custom programmes - this includes a hands-on approach to the design, delivery, and debrief phases of the programme including contracting and procurement processes
- Leverage the University's capabilities, networks, and platforms to deliver value-added programmes and services to our clients
- Maintain effective and open communication and work closely with internal teams to ensure a high-quality of programme delivery
- Maintain an understanding of key industry trends and the future of work, so as to become a trusted advisor to senior business leaders and Heads of L&D and Human Resources
- Any other relevant projects as assigned by the Head (CEP)
Qualifications
To be successful in the role you should possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience working in account management, stakeholder engagement and project management and
- Have proven experience in driving new business in line with the organisation's strategic direction, priority targets, and budgets
- Be able to demonstrate a successful track record in maintaining and growing both existing and new relationships
- Have experience/strong interest in curriculum design relating to leadership capability development
- Possess effective communication skills with the ability to confidently engage and consult with senior-level internal and external clients of the School
- Thrive on actively contributing to a high-performance, client-centric culture
- Advanced knowledge and application of MS Office suite, especially PPT and willingness to embrace new technologies in the workplace
- Prior experience in Corporate Education/Training/ HR Consulting will be an advantage
