Pathways to Care
Job description
What does a rewarding career in Adult Social Care look like? We have teamed up with Employability Bridgend to launch a brand-new course to support you to enter the field of Social Care and explore your passion for helping people in the community.
If you are a compassionate and thoughtful individual who is interested in pursuing a rewarding and meaningful career in care, then this course will be ideal for you. You will spend 2 weeks receiving free and accredited training which you can take with you into a new role, hearing directly from those currently working or receiving support in BCBC adult care services, and engaging in informative workshops to give you a real insight into the day-to-day of Bridgend’s amazing Social Care workers.
This is a unique opportunity to get a comprehensive understanding of the various roles in Social Care.
This course is designed to empower those who have little to no experience in Social Care, or for those thinking of making a career change, but we welcome applications from anyone with interest.
Have you cared for a family member in the past or wished there was more you could do to support the vulnerable in your community? Join us to kick-start a career in changing lives.
To register you interest, please complete the following form and note ‘Pathways to Care’ under the ‘Referrer Name’ section. Once submitted, a member of the employability team will contact you to discuss the course in more detail.
