Job Summary:

Surgery is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented part-time Clinical Coder to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for coding relevant information into patients' electronic healthcare records using the EMIS Web clinical system. You will work with clinical correspondence, inbound documents, and other patient-related materials, ensuring compliance with our practice coding policy.
You will follow our practice workflow and utilize document management software (Docman). Additionally, you will support our multi-disciplinary team with administrative tasks as needed, ensuring smooth operations within the practice.

Main Duties:

As a Clinical Coder, your core responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Accurately coding data on EMIS Web into patient records.

Managing a patch of 4 units across our services you will ensure that challenging rent collection targets are met but also that everything is done to avoid eviction. Your personal qualities are as important in this role as your work experience.

Working alongside Operational Colleagues, the Income and Housing Officer will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of generic Housing Management services across their patch with the main focus on Income Collection and some ASB management. You will be expected to meet tight KPI's increasing rent collection and carry out rent arrears actions at all stages from the initial warning letters to the eviction stage.

In order to effectively deliver the services listed above to their patch, the Income and Housing Officer will need to work closely with Contract Managers and Support Workers working within our projects to empower and enable them to carry out their responsibilities. Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills are a pre-requisite to the role. The post holder will be extremely flexible and have the ability to effectively manage multiple projects at one time.

What you'll do:

* Take responsibility for maximising rent collection across a defined patch of Look Ahead's portfolio of properties ensuring that rent collection targets are met and tenancies sustained
* Advise operational teams on their support related arrears management activities, including holding local surgeries with tenants and staff, taking direct control of higher level and more complex arrears cases
* Proactively monitor all current and former accounts within the defined patch and make recommendations to the Contract Manager for appropriate former accounts to be written off or referred to Look Ahead's debt collection agency
* Ensure that the rent collection function is carried out both sensitively and in a timely fashion so as to avoid the build up of excessive arrears and record all case details accurately.
* Ensure that all sign ups within the defined patch are done accurately on the correct type of tenancy and at the correct rent and service charge levels.

Primary Objective:
The primary objective of this role is to support the on-programme team to deliver a best-in-class service experience to our participants whilst they on our programmes.
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for enthusiastic Customer Support Advisors, with excellent communication skills and a high-level understanding of digital applications.
You will be providing both proactive and responsive support to a variety of disadvantaged and unemployed participants.
As the direct point of contact for our participants, you need to be dynamic and flexible in your approach, as well as dedicated to delivering excellent support and solving their challenges in the most effective way possible.
80% of your time will be to support the Customer Experience Lead and Head of Experience Centre to deal with all aspects of support, this includes supporting with mandation processes, Self-employment administration, dealing with general queries and signposting where required for any participant on one of our programmes.
Approximately, 20% of your time will be spent supporting the Jobs 22 Onboarding Customer Experience Team. You will on-board participants to the relevant programmes and be the first point of service experience for those using our services. It is expected that this time spent supporting will be to cover holidays, sickness and as and when required.
Communicate with customers through inbound/outbound calls, chats, and emails.
Follow company procedure on customer responses.
Maintain a friendly manner at all times.
Promote on-line digital applications to customers.
Ensuring the timely and accurate recording of information through online service portals.
Juggle multiple customer situations effectively.
Desirable Skills/Knowledge and Experience
Able to quickly identify problems, think flexibly and resolve issues.
Strong communication skills, a sympathetic telephone manner.
Passionate about providing high quality customer focused services.
Some experience of working in a customer facing environment would be beneficial.

Our dedicated team of 30 Care Assistants provides between 800 and 1,000 care hours each week, supporting clients with diverse needs to live independently in their own homes. Role Overview:
As a Care Coordinator, you will play a key role in the smooth running of our service, ensuring that all care is delivered to a high standard and that staff rotas are effectively managed. You will be responsible for overseeing care schedules, coordinating shifts, managing staff absences, and liaising closely with clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

Scheduling & Coordination: Manage the weekly rota for a team of 30 Care Assistants, ensuring each shift is covered and all client needs are met.

Absence Management: Handle unplanned absences, finding cover and updating clients on any necessary changes.

Client Matching: Assign Care Assistants to clients based on compatibility, care requirements, and location to maintain consistency and quality of care.

Compliance & Documentation: Ensure that all records are kept up-to-date, in line with regulatory standards and company policy.

On-Call Duty: Be available for on-call support one week in every three, to handle emergencies or last-minute changes.

Team Support: Offer guidance and support to Care Assistants, addressing any issues or concerns that may arise.

Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and their families, ensuring satisfaction and handling any feedback effectively.

The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery provides neurological and neurosurgical services on a regional, national and international basis. The neuroscience critical care unit is a 28 bedded unit with approximately 850-950 admissions a year of which 35-40% are planned elective admissions. We provide care for neurology, acute stroke and neurosurgical patients, in one of the largest dedicated neurocritical care facilities in the UK. There is excellent senior support 24/7 for the unit, with two daily ward rounds by ICU consultants and a dedicated anaesthetic registrar to help with airway management, line placement and training, and other out-of-hours intensive care issues. There are opportunities to be involved with teaching, MDT simulation sessions, clinical governance and quality improvement projects to strengthen portfolios for applications for training posts, as well as developing technical skills and competencies in Intensive Care Medicine. The successful applicant will join a team of 17 doctors, including HEE trainees from various specialities (ICM, IMT and neurosurgery), Clinical Fellows (ST1+), CESR ICM fellows and senior neuroanaesthesia fellows (ST5+) as part of an EWTD compliant full shift rota. This post is a remunerated as a locally employed doctor in line with the 2016 terms and conditions of service.
