About The Role  
We are looking for creative and proactive individuals to join our Sylvanvale Services team, who support people with a disability who attend our Community Hubs, Flexible Support and Social and Community programs.
Our Community Hubs, which are based in the Sutherland Shire, offer Programs of Support for every taste and preference.  They operate Monday to Friday, 9am-3pm and on-demand weekday evenings and on weekends.   Sutherland Community Hub offers a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities which include art, dance, cooking and exercise.

• Interacts with the other Leadership Team members to provide field-level input into decisions being made which affect NRCS’ ability to meet its clients’ needs.
• Works with team to develop recommendations regarding operating procedures, staffing, budget, equipment and other requirements to effectively accomplish the agency mission of the team.
• Works with NRCS employees, representatives of other agencies, and other partners as appropriate in the development and implementation of an effective conservation strategic plan.
• Conducts oversight and evaluation activities to assure compliance and quality in work performed.

As a Night Care Support Worker you will work 12 hour shifts and play a vital role in providing comfort, reassurance, and assistance to individuals during the nocturnal hours. You will have the opportunity to not only provide essential personal care, but to monitor residents and support the evening and morning routines for our residents.

To provide clinical support, advice and education that ensures each individual patient receives a standard of care acceptable to the patient and within the agreed Department protocols and is delivered by appropriate skilled persons within the resources available. Promote consistency and continuity of high-quality patient focused care. Assist and support Senior Nursing Team. Supervise junior staff, engaging them in training and supporting student nurses/ care support workers to develop their skills and knowledge. Responsible for the accurate assessment of individual care needs and implementation of treatments. Work together with the management/professional development team to create your own personalised development plan with unit and individual objectives and agreed time frames. Gain the ability to act up as a shift coordinator within 2yrs of being in post in order to support when needed. To lead and engage in quality improvement projects and clinical governance within the unit. Undergo Appraisal training to help support and develop junior members of the team. Work flexibly across the Critical Care Complex.
