Major duties include, but are not limited to:

• Monitoring, for compliance and timely update, of expiration of time-limited credentials.
• Serving as subject matter expert (SME) in the field of credentialing.
• Receiving and reviews VetPro reports detecting problem areas requiring further investigation.
• Managing provider applications (initial) for Non-LIPs credentialing within the VAMC.
• Assuring application packages and other documents meet technical requirements per specialty of provider and assures application folder and database account (VetPro or other internal databases and spreadsheets) meet technical requirements.
• Determining processes for coordination of incoming data and documents from a variety of sources.
• Analyzing and managing issues related to documents that do not meet expected requirements, regulations or guidelines such as adverse actions against licensures, certifications, and NPDB) CQ reports.
• Conducting final appointment into the VetPro database, after thoroughly researching, analyzing and validating all data, information, documents and signature authorities.
• Developing and providing routine and special reports as requested by the C&P manager/Analyst.
• Possessing a credit card and is responsible for maintaining records, reconciling monthly charge statements and verifying legitimacy of requests for NPDB Single and CQ enrollments/ renewals, licensure verification (if applicable), National Student Clearing House, Work Number and certifications (if applicable).
• Reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies with Fiscal Service.

• Using proper cleaning solutions to sanitize food preparation surfaces.
• Cleaning walk-in refrigerators and freezers in a food service or food handling organization.
• Handling and storing sanitized dishes, glasses and silverware for public use.
• Making sandwiches using prepared ingredients for cafeteria or buffet lines.
• Portioning food items into standard serving sizes using the proper utensils and containers.
• Assembling and tossing fresh fruit or green salads in large quantities for public consumption.
• Brewing coffee in a restaurant/commercial size coffee maker.
• Setting up glasses, silverware, dishes, trays and condiments in communal dining areas.
• Scouring and scrubbing heavy cooking utensils such as mixing bowls and pots.

• As a Financial Customer Liaison you will be responsible for the following duties (if selected at the GS-07 level, duties will be performed in a developmental capacity):
• Provides financial support by serving as liaison between the site and DFAS on behalf of employees, contractors and management to ensure prompt and accurate handling of financial transactions.
• Serves as the primary POC for Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) personnel regarding material sales, accounts receivable, and accounts receivable related issues.
• Liaises with various parties to include, but are not limited to, DFAS, customer account specialists and customers to research and resolve billing and accounts receivable issues.
• Works with DFAS to resolve customer direct blocked invoices due to contract and goods receipt related discrepancies.

The incumbent assists in all aspects of the development, coordination, and management of the Center for Development and Civic Engagement (CDCE) Office and is responsible for independent management of specific programs or portions of larger programs. The Extended Care Service Community Living Center Staff Nurse is a Professional Nurse with broad-based clinical knowledge enabling him/her to effectively implement health promotion, disease prevention, and management for adult or older adult residents requiring skilled Nursing interventions in a long term care setting. CLC Staff Nurses typically provide care for residents with complex, mixed chronic medical and/or psychiatric conditions, residents with cognitive impairments, and residents who are terminally ill. The CLC Staff Nurse utilizes the Nursing process when assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting Nursing care provided. He/she works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team when planning and providing care to Nursing Home residents and their families. The Staff Nurse functions independently as a charge Nurse on the unit, organizing and delegating care activities to other RNs, LPNs, and NAs and providing feedback to the Nurse Manager regarding the practice of others in order to improve care. He/she may either direct the care of other Staff members or provide direct patient care depending on the needs of the unit. The CLC Staff Nurse participates in Quality Improvement activities in the CLC and/or Medical Center with the objective of improving patient care outcomes. He/she takes an active role in identifying his/her own educational needs and continually updating clinical skills.

The Licensed Practical Nurse will function in a variety of settings within the Medical Center. Work consists of personal nursing care duties, treatments, diagnostic support, recording, patient teaching and rehabilitation. The work of a Licensed Practical Nurse involves regular and recurring exposure to infection and transmittal diseased and ordinary risks and discomforts requiring incidence of unpredictable, assault behavior, unintentional related to confused, disoriented Veterans and/or patients with psychiatric disorders/history. Duties may include but are not limited to:

• Document patient care observation and information according to Policy and Procedure on appropriate forms.
• Follow safe practices and procedures to guard patient and personal safety as well as the safety of other individuals in the Medical Center.
• Carrying out patient care based on the Veterans condition and using judgement in selecting the appropriate order and sequence of procedures and treatments.
• Accurately recognize report and record relevant patient information.
• Perform support duties for complex diagnostic tests and or/specialized practices or procedures, which include preparing the patient, assisting in the diagnostic examination, preparing, and handling specialized instruments, and monitoring the Veterans condition before, during and after procedures.
