We are seeking a Consultant Clinical Psychologist to lead and develop community psychological services for older people in East Kent. As an experienced psychologist and older adult clinician, the post holder will provide professional, clinical, managerial and strategic leadership.
The post holder will join a large team (40+ staff) of psychological practitioners for older people in Kent and Medway including art and music therapists, clinical and counselling psychologists, systemic and CBT therapists, assistant psychologists and Clinical Associate Psychologists.
The post holder will provide clinical services at a high level of expertise, supporting and advising colleagues on all issues concerned with psychological practice for older people and providing expert clinical consultation and professional guidance to other psychological practitioners.
Within easy distance of the South Thames Clinical Psychology Training Centre, our service welcomes a large number of trainees and takes advantage of post-qualification training courses and events. There are also good links to undergraduate courses and student placements.

This is a full time role, Monday - Friday, 9am to 5pm. Applicants seeking part-time options of 30 hours a week or more are welcome to apply. The post holder’s base will be in East Kent (options can be discussed at interview).
