Key Responsibilities:
* Use systems to record and report data to support management purposes and regulations.
* Develop and maintain H&S practices and carrying out risk assessments for the protection of staff members and service users. This includes medication administration and security.
* Monitoring personal development plans for service users to ensure their specific requirements are fully met.
* Follow practice to allow service users to live as independent as possible i.e. social activities, access services and facilities and develop social networks.
* Create and follow procedures to support service users and staff during significant life change or loss.
* Staff management - recruitment of staff, assess performance and identifying areas for improvement, maintain a positive environment with good working relationships, carry out disciplinary and grievance procedures where necessary.
* Maintain good relationships with regulatory bodies such as Care Inspectorate.
* Managing budgets.

Qualification/Experience:
* SVQ 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent recognised by SSSC.

THE ROLE
As a Lead Customer Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading and developing a team of Customer Operations Managers (COM) to take ownership and accountability to deliver results across a balance scorecard. Whilst at the same time deploying significant transformational changes.
You’ll be the point of contact for external stakeholders and hold the responsibility through delegation, coaching and support to ensure all COMs complete tasks to time and quality, delivering the scorecard performance.
You’ll produce the weekly resourcing plan and ensure all COMs deliver towards this. Leading on safety will be key, ensuring each COM completes their safety tasks and the unit’s specific PIC tasks are accomplished, alongside confirming each COM is managing their fleet, and the unit hits overall targets.
Furthermore, you’ll also have full accountability for your Delivery team, you’ll work through the morning and into the afternoon and ensure the smooth running of all deliveries. You'll lead and inspire a team of front-line colleagues to work efficiently and provide excellent service at the doorstep. Job Description

Undertake assessments within budgetary criteria, where individuals meet service eligibility, to meet the outcomes of older adults, and those with a physical disability including acquired brain injury, under the remit of the Social Work (Scotland) Act 1968 and subsequent legislation relevant to the function of care management.

We are seeking a highly skilled, driven individual to work in the Aberdeen Justice Social Work Service. Reporting to the Chief Officer for Adult Social Work, you must have extensive senior management experience within justice or the public protection arena. justice Social Work is a diverse, complex and busy service which has mostly statutory involvement with individuals who have offended, many of whom have complex needs, multiple disadvantages with some presenting a risk to themselves and others. The service functions within a rich strategic environment that includes the ACHSCP Strategic Plan, the Community Planning Local Outcome Improvement Plan and the National Strategy for Community Justice. There are a significant number of legislative obligations that the service is expected to fulfil as it discharges its duties as well as adhering to professional justice-specific National Outcomes and Standards. This role is designed to provide strategic leadership and support to the Justice Social Work Service. A key element of the post will be driving improvements in the experiences and outcomes for individuals within the Justice System. As such, the postholder will oversee the justice improvement portfolio as outlined in the Service Delivery Plan and undertake appropriate performance management activities to demonstrate the effectiveness of the service. In addition, informed advice and support about all aspects of the service will be provided to both senior management and decision-making/governance bodies related to Justice Social Work and its implications for community safety/public protection. The Strategic Service Manager will have a responsibility for liaising with the MAPPA Co-Ordinator and other agency representatives to ensure that the justice service contribution to MAPPA discussions and decisions is timely, appropriate and risk informed. • Educated to degree level in Social Work or a relevant discipline and/or extensive
