Main purpose of the job:

The main purpose of the Senior Executive - Customer Service (Team Leader) in the Collections Department (Inbound Team) is to lead and support a team in achieving collection performance targets, while ensuring compliance, improving processes, and delivering excellent customer service.

Job Description:

Major duties include, but are not limited to the following: 

• Serves as a senior expert Acquisition Project Manager and concurrently independently leads and manages multiple highly complex and high-dollar value ($500M+) acquisitions from acquisition initiation through contract or Task Order award providing technical advice to the client, contractors, and Acquisition Procurement Center of Excellence (APEX) regarding pre-award strategies and activities. • Assesses and documents the appropriate acquisition strategy to accomplish the client’s requirement. Problem solves and incorporates expert and innovative solution(s) into acquisition activities and milestones as needed to resolve impediments to progress. Conducts market research and identifies the optimal acquisition strategy to accomplish the client requirement.  Serves as a senior expert GSA liaison in the pre-award phase to the client managing cost and schedule expectations.
• Translates client requirements and acquisition strategy into written documentation. Leads technical evaluation of the most complex needs and proposals. Uses senior expert acquisition and analytical knowledge, writes technical evaluation reports summarizing the Technical Evaluation Board findings.
• Develops, maintains, nurtures, and champions partnerships with clients, contractor support staff, and other GSA employees.
