POSITION SUMMARY

POSITION SUMMARY

8. Develop curriculum and conduct end-user training sessions as needed on the various application modules of the business intelligence, data warehousing and analytics systems. 

9. Works on complex problems in which analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors. Proven advanced analytical and modeling skills are necessary. Must be able to work with minimal supervision and prioritize multiple projects that utilize sophisticated software programs. Exercise judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Position interacts with all levels of hospital and system leadership and staff, physicians, regulatory agencies, and vendors.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must possess strong knowledge of business, finance, health management, statistics, and analytics as normally obtained through the completion of a bachelor’s degree. 

Must also possess seven plus years of decision support experience in healthcare or an equivalent combination of relevant education, technical, business and related industry experience. Must have excellent analytical and organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with changing needs and deadlines. Routing and Switching Engineer – Senior Associate

Provide system level pre & post-sales support for CIENA’s Customer base. This includes answering incoming customer calls, testing, troubleshooting and remote technical support for CIENA packet products. Basic level expertise in data communications protocols including Ethernet and IP networks is required. An understanding of fiber optic transport and/or switching protocols would be an asset. Experience with Element Management or Network Management systems would be an asset.

Specific Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls from our global customers as well as document, validate, and capture adequate information to facilitate a technical investigation
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide remote technical support for issues related to our Packet products promptly and professionally via various communication channels (phone, email, chat).

We are actively searching for a Senior Specialty Representative to deliver on our commitment to serve patients. The Senior Specialty Representative acts as the primary customer contact and is responsible for implementing marketing strategy and promoting Amgen products as led by the District Manager.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen's products and effectively communicate the clinical benefits to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization of the products
• Perform as a sales leader to achieve territory sales by delivering branded sales messages, conducting planned programs, scheduling and following-up with medical educational programs, and achieving or exceeding sales targets through both in-person and virtual engagement
• Develop relationships to service and manage accounts which may include: customizing discussions and customer interactions based on understanding of customer needs, ensuring product access, resolving/triage reimbursement issues, and maintaining product contracts
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy, analyze business effectiveness of sales activities and territory analysis, and develop territory plans with the District Manager
• Partner with other colleagues to share best practices and seek to learn and grow as a Senior Specialty Representative
• Demonstrate passion for our products and sustain that passion through the entire sales cycle while always building our brand and never losing sight of how we serve patients

What we expect of you

We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. The sales professional we seek is a motivated individual with these qualifications.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of sales experience

OR

Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience

OR

High school diploma/GED and 8 years of sales experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• More than 3 years’ Sales, marketing and/or clinical experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, diagnostics, healthcare insurance, pharmacy services, healthcare medical device or medical supply industries
• Product or hospital sales experience in the areas of oncology, cardiology, inflammation, nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology, neurology, endocrinology, hepatology, gastroenterology, bone health, respiratory, hematology, or infectious diseases; and the diseases and treatments involved with these specialties
• Advanced influencing and relationship-building skills with a focus on sales outcomes
• Local Market knowledge
• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration
