Work Pattern: Hybrid | 3 Days in the Office | 2 Days WFH
As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you'll bring a wealth of skills and experience to ensure the delivery, support, and maintenance of IT infrastructure and operational software that align with Selwood's corporate goals and daily operational needs. You'll also take charge of specific technical specialisations within operational infrastructure.
Collaborating closely with key team members and the I&O Manager, you'll demonstrate strong third-line diagnostic abilities in areas like Windows networking, Azure cloud architecture, VPNs, and financial applications.
Your familiarity with ITIL-based service delivery processes, including change control and incident management, will be a valuable asset.
Your track record includes expertise in IT security, with a proven ability to handle cloud migrations and design system infrastructure from the ground up.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Delivering low outage high availability systems.
- System and service improvements which deliver increased value to the business; proposed, planned, tested and implemented.
- Documentation and records as required for support and improvement work, e.g., requirements and technical specification documents, change requests, problem records, knowledgebase articles, CMDB entries, among others.
- Controls, monitoring, and alerts to facilitate fast responses to active or potential incidents.
- Configured, fault-free hardware assets delivered to customers in a timely manner in line with SLAs.
