The post holder will assist registered staff within the Complex Needs team at harbour Drug and alcohol services, working under supervision, in providing support in the community for people experincing mental health and co-existing substance misues issues. The Team provides flexible and holistic support to Residents who have a wide range of support needs. We aim to support our Residents to find and keep a stable home at the end of their CAS-2 placement. You will manage a caseload of Residents and properties in your allocated area.

The MPGS provides professional soldiers to meet armed security requirements at Royal Navy, Army, RAF and other MOD bases across the UK Mainland. Our primary role is to counter the terrorist threat posed to military bases within the UK.

Our duties include:
Security incident management - Such as suspicious packages, bomb threats, protests, etc.

Patrolling site perimeters - Taking necessary action to preserve perimeter security.

To maintain on orderly office, this can readily be taken over by colleagues/locum where necessary. To collect hospital notes and clinics from Main Outpatients and other departments. To assist in monitoring shared mailboxes. Build and sustain effective communications with other roles involved in the health community as required to ensure good team working and collaborative working practices in particular. Liaise with nursing, clerical and clinical staff. Requirement to exert physical effort when dealing with vast quantities of notes. Clinical 1. Providing and delivering a high standard of nursing care by initiating and co[1]ordinating the assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating of individual patients needs based on evidence. This includes all aspects of care from admission to discharge. 2. Reporting and documenting all relevant nursing/patient needs, communicating changes with other health care professionals in the multidisciplinary team with ongoing responsibility for patient care as they occur. 3. Promoting and delivering health education within the clinical area and advise patients, family, and others in health promotion issues. Undertaking patient triage, undertaking clear assessment of patient health in the acute ophthalmic setting following best practice guidance by telephone and face to face. Making safe and appropriate decisions. Demonstrating and undertaking evidence-based practice, playing an active part in the introduction of this evidence to improve patient-centred care. Supervising, assessing, and mentoring and supporting junior Registered Nurses and Health care professionals, including bank and agency staff in the clinical setting. Increasing the level of knowledge and skills within the Department/Directorate through sharing best practice and supporting others to develop their professional abilities. Implementing and sharing good infection prevention and control practice. Undertake manual handling assessments and ensuring actions are met.
