The Role

We’re recruiting for a Service Information Manager here at Justice Digital, to be part of our warm and collaborative Service Operations team.

This role aligns against IT Service Manager from the Government Digital and Data Framework.

The Service Information Manager is a key member of our Problem, Incident, Complaints & Escalation, Knowledge, Event management and Service Desk (PICKES) Team. Key responsibilities are to ensure that there is an open two-way communication path for MOJ Users, Stakeholders, Suppliers and Senior management to understand the status of MoJ IT Services.

This role demands a vigilant and initiative-taking individual who can provide proficient verbal and written communications at pace. Understand and listen to requirements of engagement and information sharing of others. Learning and improving their perspective of MoJ IT Services and Service Operations.

The successful candidate will have the ability to develop verbal and written comms by collaborating and building relationships with Product Owners, Business Relationship Managers, stakeholders, SME’s and so on.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for ensuring that comprehensive Incident communications are sent in a timely fashion, with key information as per the process to all relevant parties without delay.
• Responsible for developing the process and style of sending Incident communications, listening to other perspectives to make sure all parties requirements are met.
• Attend Incident or Problem bridge calls to obtain the latest information and status. With the ability to interpret the updates into meaningful communications.
• Support Incident and Problem managers update ITSM tool tickets and comms plans. Obtain additional information for them if required during an investigation.
• Work closely with the Product or Service Owners, Major Incident Management, Problem Management, Service Desk, and other relevant teams to understand requirements for information sharing and engagement for all comms
• Manage Distribution lists for comms channels, with regular quality and data checks.
• Manage Incident Broadcast channel (email and MS Teams), liaising with the relevant team members to obtain and provide support or answers to queries.
• Work with Head of PICKES to research new industry approaches to broadcasts and comms, Engage and learn from across other Gov departments and consider improvements to how MoJ Users at all levels are kept informed with timely and informative information regarding MoJ IT Services.
• Responsible for reporting and assessing volumes of comms sent, per channel and cost. Obtain temperature check on comms approach. Identifying any gaps or improvements.
• Develop KRA’s/ XLAs to measure success of responsibilities.
• Build relationships with other communication teams to learn from and understand their processes.
• Support the Tactical Incident team in the rare event of Critical Incident. This may require working outside normal hours but will be compensated with overtime.

Functions:

• Lifecycle management of network equipment. Completes both routine and complex assignments involved identifying and troubleshooting issues. Coordinates and works effectively with other facility support departments. Utilizes advanced network test equipment and software.
• Manages, troubleshoots and maintains complete systems of computerized networks, databases and servers.

• Maintains functional knowledge of relevant safety codes and standards of regulatory bodies.
• Documents all work performed in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). This documentation is completed in accordance with regulatory body requirements, Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) Documentation of Services guidelines and other organizational requirements. Maintains documentation of biomedical information systems covering ePHI requirements, VLAN, IP address, anti-virus software, security and other required information.
• Functions as a Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and keeps appropriate certification levels. Uses knowledge of government contract procedures and documentation requirements to develop statements of work, sole source justifications, other applicable documentation (6550, Independent Government Cost Estimate (IGCE), etc.) and to oversee vendor work. Collaborates with Logistics and Contracting to procure parts and services; functions as a purchase card holder, as required.
• Investigates, remediates and documents recalls and safety alerts within established timeframes. Participates in local safety improvement processes such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA), safety work groups, and Environment of Care Rounds. • Maintains knowledge of the state of the art in medical technology, including scientific advances, network protocols, and vendor changes. • Provides training and education as appropriate to medical technology end users and clinical staff.

Role Description:

The CTO (Chief Technology Organization) Change Service Lead at Associate Director level will be based in the Singapore Technology Center and will have responsibility to establish a centralized tiered change service function to service to all CTO initiatives and product teams. Service levels will range from self-service for most product teams to full-service for our highest priorities. Change services, including templates, will be based on the Prosci ADKAR methodology. We consider communications one of the major tools to execute on change, so the services will include curation of communication channels and presentation assets, including videos and graphics. The expectation is that the Change Service Lead and the team they lead will be hands-on experts at using both change and communication tools, as well as able to upskill others.

Responsibilities:

Management of Change Service Team

• Manage a small team that will include the Product Manager of our CTO Portal (SharePoint) and a rotating pool of students and Gig based employees across our network of Technology Centers (US, Czech Republic, Singapore and India) to provide services globally.
• Advocate for the use of GenAI in the creation of change deliverables by the change service team and beyond.
• Establish the success criteria for the change services team in partnership with senior level stakeholders.
• Upskill a broader set of CTO employees on change using the Prosci ADKAR methodology.

Qualifications:

The NRCC operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from DB Cargo UK in Doncaster.

What will you be doing?

2. Relevant educational qualifications in Marine/ Electrical / Mechanical / Structure Engineering (Degree/Diploma)

3. Willing to do field work (outdoor sites, onboard vessel /workboat, underground, canal, water coastal, etc.)

4. Team player

5. No prior experience may also be considered.

6. Confident in Marine Environment

7. Self-driven and motivated individual with critical thinking skill
