The key roles of the Customer Service Assistant – Logistics are:
- Attending customers’ enquiries, to meet customer satisfaction.
- Assist in system implementation, enhancement to system/work processes to improve the operation efficiency of the department.
Responsibilities
The Customer Service Assistant – Logistics is overall responsible on the customer enquiries and booking confirmations, with the defined scope for Titimas Logistics Sdn. Bhd.
- To assist Marketing Team in preparing the quotation for new customers and continue building up business relationship with them for future business;
- Checking rates from supplier (Carrier – freight LCL, FCL Conventional, RORO. Air freight / Warehousing / Transport etc);
- Required to prepare quotation within the same day after received confirmation from CEO;
- Follow up with customers after quotation have been send out in order to secure the shipment;
- Closely monitor and follow up shipment status until job complete to avoid any problem arise;
- To check with the related Government Agency for any Import / Export permit requirement for any new item / commodity
- Preparing MITI cost analysis
- Renewal of MTIB license
- Update Carrier Own Container (COC) rate list and distribute to other team members on monthly basis;
- Prepare Costing Sheet and updating quotation in Smart Freight System for each shipment;
- Check cash term invoice before sending to Accounts Department;
- Follow up payment from Customers;
- Monitor the movement stock at JASA KITA WAREHOUSE, coordinate with Import Team on the stock in and out at warehouse and check the Invoice billing from vendor;
- Perform any other jobs as assign by superior / management when required from time to time.
Qualitifications
- Possess at least Higher, Secondary, SPM / STPM or Diploma in related field.
- Minimum 2 years of working customer service/documentations/operations experiences in forwarding.
- Solid knowledge of FCL and LCL shipping documents, customs clearance, and local transportation. Airfreight experience is a plus.
- Efficient multitasking with good communications and time management skills.'
