To be considered for the role of Qualified Nursery Teacher you will have: - Level 6 Diploma or equivalent
- QTS qualification
- A sound knowledge of the EYFS
- Strong understanding of Safeguarding and relevant legislation

The role of a Qualified Nursery Teacher within the Nursery involves: - Providing positive learning experiences and routines, to meet the requirements in the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework
- Working in line with internal policies and procedures
- Working efficiently in the capacity of key person and worker
- Observing and recording key children's progress and to ensure that planning reflect these observations
- Playing a lead role in the development and implementation of effective systems for observation, assessment, planning and record keeping
- Keeping accurate records of each child's development and progress
- Working in partnership with parents, carers and families in supporting children's care and education
- Working in the role of Mentor for any apprentice or student working in the base room
