We want to provide woman-centred, family friendly care and offer a range of models of midwifery and obstetric care provision. This includes midwife-led care, continuity of carer models, and specialist care provided by our obstetric teams for women with more complex needs, as well as community midwifery services.

As part of this role you will also be required to support the senior midwife for labour ward and provide support to deputy senior midwives.
This is a full-time position to provide the managerial support and leadership to the service, however there is flexibility in working hours to support your development and your own wellbeing .
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic lead midwife for Intrapartum Care. We are looking for an individual who has experience of managing and leading a team, is committed to continuous development and improvement.
You will work closely with the whole multidisciplinary team including the obstetric labour ward lead consultant, anaesthetic labour ward lead anaesthetist, theatre matron, neonatal lead consultant for neonates, senior midwife for labour ward, intrapartum matron and the senior midwifery team across both sites and support staff in the deliverance of exceptional care together.
If you feel you have the attributes to fulfil this role and are able to rise to the challenges of today's changing maternity climate please call and discuss what could be a fabulous and exciting next step for you.
