Salary: £37,000 per annum
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (hours may vary depending on workload and seeing the PM and Night Shifts)

Are you passionate about driving operational excellence and continuous improvement? We’re seeking an experienced Continuous Improvement Facilitator to join the food production team in Stalbridge, Somerset.
The job
• Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives across our site, using tools and techniques such as DMAIC, SMED, 5S, Centre Lining, SIC, Kaizen, and Line Balancing.
• Work closely with production teams to enhance Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and drive cultural performance improvements.
• Analyze production data, present reports, and strategically enhance site performance.
• Mentor and motivate teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
The candidate
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or similar relevant qualification—essential.
• Degree qualified or equivalent experience, with a background in manufacturing excellence.
• Level 2 Food Safety/Hygiene qualification preferred.
• Strong understanding and application of continuous improvement tools and techniques.
• Experience working with OEE software systems in a food production or FMCG environment.
• At least 2 years of experience in an FMCG environment.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically and enhance site performance.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor teams.
• Excellent influencing and facilitating skills, with a focus on achieving results.
• Financial awareness and the ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• A practical, proactive, and ‘can-do’ approach to work.
