We currently have a vacancy for a full time Receptionist/Estate Agency Assistant. As the first point of contact with our firm, we are looking for an organised and dependable person with good telephone and communication skills.

Our office hours are 9.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday. Receptionist duties include answering the telephone, dealing with general enquiries, distribution of incoming and outgoing mail, indexing of Wills and Title deeds, closing files and other general office duties. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a concierge estate manager for a privately owned 7 bedroom property in a scenic area of the Scottish Highlands. The property caters itself to private use, semi serviced stays, weddings/ events, and seasonal day spa and B&B activity. The concierge estate manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the estate, including managing household staff rotas, coordinating maintenance and repairs, overseeing event planning and logistics, managing household compliance requirements, providing front of house duties such as checking guests in & out, as well as participating in overall guest service, housekeeping and laundry duties. Strong administrative skills for dealing with emails and reservations are necessary to succeed, overseeing all the business aspects of Ardrhu House whilst remaining actively engaged with the guest/customer side.

• Prepares all market-ready apartments, which may include painting, carpet cleaning/repair, general repairs, and housekeeping to ensure a quality product to our residents.
• Completes resident service request in a timely manner.

You will join our Construction Practice and be responsible for the day-to-day execution of complex industrial construction projects for our Food, Beverage, Consumer Packaged Goods, and Life Science sector manufacturing clients. You will work with Regional Safety Managers, Directors, Project Managers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure our projects remain on schedule within the allocated budget.

What You’ll Do

Display the “Need to Lead” and act as our primary on-site Construction Superintendent for “Out of the Ground” Manufacturing and Production Facilities construction projects.

The Superintendent regularly supervises the work of subcontractors, inspects, and verifies work in progress, and strictly enforces compliance with 3rd party inspections/ Surveyors with quality and safety procedures.

Project Oversight:

• In complete and responsible charge of project construction ensuring safe, high quality, timely and cost-effective execution of project work with little guidance from senior level leadership; usually the sole Design Group superintendent on the jobsite
• Bring excellent knowledge of principals of construction, including forming and placing of concrete, process piping, crane operations and erection of structural steel, installation of cladding on buildings, completion of roofing, plumbing, electrical and HVAC, interior finishes, and installation of manufacturing equipment.

Pre-Construction Phase:

• Create site logistics plan identifying trailer location, material storage, access points, gates, safety requirements, signage, temporary utilities, etc. – as needed
• Provide technical expertise throughout the Pre-Construction process including reviewing the construction plans, specifications, schedules, as well as advising the project manager of issues and/or deficiencies

Construction Phase:

• Provide leadership by establishing and maintaining an effective and harmonious working relationship with the client and Design Group team members and subcontractors
• Manage day-to-day field activities to ensure that the safety, schedule, and quality requirements are met; Work alongside onsite/ offsite project stakeholders to make sure project is being completed on time and efficiently as possible
• Maintain daily paperwork such as Procore daily reports, schedule updates, and system correspondence; Identify conflicts in construction progress by submitting formal RFI’s and communicate them to the off-site PM for resolution

Post-Construction Phase:

• Complete the punch list and get customer sign-off

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Regularly required to travel outside between properties in varying weather conditions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may need to stand and walk for extended or continuous periods of time. They must be able to ascend and descend staircases, ladders, and/or step stools and may be required to travel outside between buildings in varying outdoor weather conditions. The employee may also be regularly required to remain in a stationary position (sit or stand) for 85% of the time; regularly operate office machinery.
