Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identify and prospect new clients, particularly SME owners and MNC purchasing teams, to explore opportunities for installing solar PV systems on rooftops and walls.
- Sales Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement sales strategies to grow the solar PV market within the construction industry and materials sector.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the construction and energy industries to drive business opportunities.
- Market Research: Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends, competitor analysis, and market dynamics related to solar energy systems.
- Proposal Development: Prepare and deliver detailed proposals and presentations to potential clients, outlining the benefits and technical aspects of solar PV system installations.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, project management, and operations) to ensure seamless execution of solar installation projects.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead contract discussions and negotiations to close deals successfully, ensuring alignment with client needs and company goals.
- Sales Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, opportunities, and outcomes to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the construction, energy, or materials industry.
- Strong understanding of solar PV systems and renewable energy solutions.
- Ability to communicate effectively with SME owners, MNC purchasing teams, and other stakeholders.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to identify new opportunities and drive results.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.
- Familiarity with the regulatory landscape and incentives related to solar energy is a plus.
