A highly reputable firm are looking for an ambitious Commercial Property lawyer with around 8+PQE to lead the commercial property department to join one of their offices in Kent.
The firm are long established and strongly value the loyalty of their clients and the longstanding relationships they have built. With that in mind, you will be expected to possess the necessary skills to continue working with the existing clients ensuring they are dealt with the same level of high-quality service, as well as have a keen interest in taking an active role in acquiring new business.
The role will see you lead the commercial property department of several lawyers who provide services in relation to sales and purchases (including developments); mortgages; leases, tenancies and licences; options, conditional contracts and overage; planning agreements; and rights and easements. You will be technical strong and have a flair for developing the careers of those more junior than yourself.
To be successful in this role you will be
- To be a qualified solicitor or legal executive with around 8+ PQE;
- Have experience in all areas of commercial property work;
- Will have the necessary skills to progress to a level where they will confidently supervise others and head up the department upon the future retirement of the existing post holder;
- Have a strong work ethic and be prepared to work to work as an integral part of the team;
- Confidence and ability to communicate to a high standard.
