Salary: £60 - 65k (negotiable - depending upon experience)

The Projects:
A diverse portfolio of civil engineering schemes ranging from road improvements, concrete repairs & reinstatements, aviation projects, paving repairs, utilities and specialist framework projects. The initial project that you will be working on is a high profile civil engineering project, including some building works too.
The Role:
This is the perfect opportunity working with a well known civils contractor, who hold an excellent reputation nationwide.
This role will be site / office based 5 days a week, with some potential flexibility.
You will be responsible for:
- Procuring sub-contractors, agreeing prices and letting the packages
- Negotiating costs with various parties
- Drawing up contracts (NEC)
- Monthly reporting (CVR)
- Responsible for work package change control and management
- Dealing with any pricing variations
- Responsible for project re-measure
- Preparing final accounts
- Change management
- Managing subcontractors
- Working within an integrated team
Requirements:
- NEC 3 or 4 (Option B and E experience)
- Degree / HND in Quantity Surveying
- Excellent IT and maths skills are essential
- Attention to detail
- Excellent report writing and negotiation skills are essential
- Experience in - highways, bridges, infrastructure, environmental, frameworks and special works
Benefits:
- £60,000 - 70,000 per annum (depending on experience) + package
