Probate Estate Manager
£30,800-£38,500 plus excellent benefits (Work Level 6A)
We're now working in a hybrid way, with colleagues dividing their time between home and at least one day a week at any of our offices in Manchester, Sheffield, Bristol, or Stratford upon Avon.
We're looking for an associate probate estate manager to join our market leading probate team, making a real difference to peoples lives at a time when they need us most.
At Co-op Legal Services we're passionate about providing alternative routes into legal services, so whether you have legal qualifications or not, we can offer you the chance to build a rewarding career with us. In this role, you'll manage a caseload of 50-60 probate cases consisting of taxable estates from start to finish. You won't need to source your own work or bring a following of clients with you, and you'll be joining a fast growing, innovative legal business where we use technology to respond to the changing needs of our customers.
What you'll do
* manage a varied caseload of taxable estate administration probate cases from start to finish
* use our case management system to make sure information is recorded accurately
* engage with clients mainly by telephone and email
* work collaboratively with support from experienced members of the team to continually develop your legal skills
This role would suit people who have
* experience of managing taxable probate estate administration cases
* the ability to use your initiative and effectively manage multiple priorities
* a client-focused approach - putting customers' interests at the heart of everything you do
* some experience in dealing with taxable estates
