Job Description
Position Summary:
The Senior Real Estate Specialist is a member of Real Estate Administration & Development team responsible for managing and administering Nordstrom’s entire portfolio (retail, warehouses, storages, distribution/fulfillment centers, and offices) reporting key data and critical dates, maintaining the system of record, abstracting leases and developing business relationships with local store teams, regional teams, property managers and landlords. The Real Estate Administration team specifically supports many internal cross-functional business partners including Real Estate-Development, Store Design and Planning, Legal, Tax, Facilities, Risk Management, Accounting and Finance, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and distribute all real estate documents via asset management software system.
- Maintain/File hard copies of all important documents for record in Real Estate’s storeroom.
- Distribute all notices received in Real Estate to appropriate internal teams.
- Build and distribute specific reports created via Lucernex to different internal teams.
- Provide accurate interpretation of lease terms to internal cross-functional partners or teams.
- Assist with all incoming property management/maintenance issues, questions, and requests.
- Assist Real Estate Manager with the collection of allowances, security deposits, and reimbursements timely.
- Draft lease summaries and distribute to Store and Regional Facilities Teams.
- Assist Real Estate Manager to prepare general correspondence and other legal documents such as allowance/reimbursement request letters, estoppels, simple amendments, short-term storage agreements, license agreements, demand/default letters and lease renewal options letters, etc.
- Distribute correspondence related to account statements, utility statements, ad-hoc statements, insurance requests and Opex/Tax reconciliations.
- Assist Real Estate Manager and Real Estate Directors with varied ad-hoc projects and requests.

- Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite, Asset/Lease Management Application, Word, Excel, Coupa, MarkView, and PowerPoint
Qualifications:
- Experience with Asset/Repository Management Software (Lucernex preferred)
- Lease Management Experience (preferred)
- BA/BS degree, or equivalent combination of education
- Experience in retail real estate (preferred).

Pay Range Details
The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.
Washington: $69,000-$110,500
This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more. Eligibility requirements may apply based on location, job level, classification, and length of employment.
