Property and Minor Works Schemes Assisting in the production of feasible schemes and viable space solutions for estate development. This work may include for the production and / or oversight of drawings / sketch ideas and presentation material as applicable. Assisting and directly undertaking project management of minor works under the supervision of the Estates Officer / other senior colleagues Day to day liaison with clinical and non-clinical staff colleagues to help ensure good communication on property projects such as relocation of office accommodation / minor capital schemes. Support health and safety precautions are implemented based on established method statements and risk assessments throughout all stages of a project Responsible for allocated scheme budgets as and when allocated to deliver schemes or assist in the delivery of schemes Contribution to ideas and outline layouts to clients and immediate colleagues. Property Management Support and work independently within the property team with the production of data from space utilisation surveys and other key data as required. Assist on the practical implementation and organisation of surveys within trust accommodation such as six-facet surveys. Assist and help maintain good records of estates data from these surveys and investigations. Monitor and report standard data from the property terrier / database which details lease arrangements and other estates data, (training to be provided on specific software). Assist and take responsibility for key parts of designing and implementing feasibility studies including the development of option appraisals and draft layouts and maintain good records space requests by departments and staff. To undertake training and CPD on specific matters in areas of property management as required. Develop an individual training with line manager to become an expert in new lease software applications and how this relates to industry guidance such as RICS guidance compliance / other best practice in monitoring and managing leases. Undertake legal CPD as required To support data gathering and process for specific NHS data collection returns such as NHS PAM, ERIC or PLACE as required
