Requirements
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intellectual Property (IP) Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience in the field of intellectual property law, where you will assist in various tasks related to patent and trademark matters. This position is ideal for students or recent graduates looking to gain practical knowledge in IP law and contribute to real IP projects.
Responsibilities:
• In collaboration with IP team, to develop, review and refine engaging and creative educational materials for in-house IP training;
• Assist the IP team in the following activities:
• Conduct patent/prior art search and/ or trademark clearance search;
• Review and analyze invention disclosure prepared by inventors;
• Review and refine internal patent process;
• Prepare and file patent applications;
• Draft responses to Office Actions from patent and trademark offices;
• Periodically maintain, update and organize IP portfolio databases and files;
• Prepare IP presentations and reports as needed
Requirements:
• Currently pursuing degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Law (with IP specialization) or related field;
• Knowledge of IP focusing on patent and trademark is not necessary but preferred;
• Strong research and analytical skills;
• Excellent command of the English Language (both written and oral);
• Capacity to understand diverse technologies;
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
